Use this every day. Love the clean interface esp appreciate the clean visual of the tide pattern so I can plan my day : can also confirm sunrise / sunset with a quick glance ( and moonrise / moonset). Easy to change my port when travelling. Nice work!

“Tide US” is the ***BEST*** tide prediction app I have found for Android - bar none. “Tide US” graphically displays the tide cycle for the day you select. It has numerous ports around the US, and it can also show you simple tide tables for selected periods. Additionally the app shows times of sun and moon rise and set on the same page that displays the tide graphic. Most tide apps can do most of these simple things with varying levels of beauty and refinement. Where “Tide US” shines (and sets itself apart from other tide apps), is in how it can show the graphical representation of the tide. I need to know when the tide will be above a particular elevation on any particular day. “Tide US” allows me to set a threshold value for the tide and it draws a horizontal line across the tide graphic at the level I choose. It also shows the times on the graphic when the tide will go above or below the chosen threshold elevation. With the possible exception of the old “Tide Tool” app for the Palm, “Tide US” is the most feature-rich and useful tide app I have ever found for any mobile device. This app is definitely worth the small price being asked.

A US tidal chart only available in French on my device. I'm sure it may be a good app but it useless to me out of the box....
